- Rust 2 Rome 2011 has two leaving dates, first is on Saturday 2nd of July at 10am the next is Saturdaty 8th of October at 10am
- Rust 2 Rome 2012 leaves on Sunday 1st of July at 10am
- The 2011 closing date is Sunday 5th of June, though you can still sign up after by contacting the organiser
- The leaving location details will be sent to you after you have signed up to the rally
- The budget for your car is £500
- The entry fee is £349 each (minimum two people in your team) the fee is reduced if there are more people in your team
- You will receive your driver pack one month before departure of the rally
- The route to Rome is 3043 miles and about 1500 miles for the return so about 4500 miles overall
- You must have a TomTom GPS as part of your navigation
- The Rust 2 Rome route will be sent to you with instructions on how to download it to your TomTom
- The route has been carefully planned out and is a blend of exciting scenic roads, stretches of motorway, on route events and spectacular sites
- Some days you will drive about 120 miles and some 350 miles but the average is about 250 miles per day
- There are usually 2 - 3 Checkpoints per day
- Generally the whole rally travels together in smaller groups of 3 or 4 cars
- The mid day Checkpoint is usually located in an ideal place to have lunch
- Rust 2 Rome supports local charities however you may support a charity of your choice
- The maximum number of people per car is 4
- Rust 2 Rome has been running since 2006
